problem isnt bumrah bowled in 5 tests.or that he bowled too many overs.

Problem is, Rohit used a 2.5 bowling attack, pretty much bowling bumrah + siraj into the ground and using all the other bowlers as a 5th bowler option.

Bumrah didnt bowl too many overs on the trot. He came back too fast for 2nd/3rd/4th spells and over and over in the whole series.

 

the insanity of Rohit was mindboggling here:

I mean forget Bumrah, if you wanted to break even *THE* unbreakable ironman of fast bowling - Courtney Walsh - you woudl come up with same plan - pick 4 bowlers, but make Walsh bowl 30% of the overs while u use only 3 bowlers in rotation and bring him back every 1.5 hours.

And Walsh was a medium fast bowler unlike Bumrah.

I don't think it matters what speed the ball comes outta your hand when you run in and huck the ball as a pacer- medium or ultrafast.
