Agarkar has to be the most idiotic selector Indian cricket has seen in  decades. Seriously, where is Karun Nair? And how on earth did the BCCI's nepo kid, Shubman Gill, end up as vice-captain? He doesn't even deserve a spot on the team! This is beyond absurd and utterly ridiculous. It's blatantly obvious that this selection committee is just a puppet for BCCI  lobbyists .Pathetic After New Zealand and Australia series this selections are just baffling and spitting on the face of an average Indian cricket fan. Time to stop watching Indian cricket team.

Are you CSK fans ?

Other than Jadeja selection, everything else makes sense. Its as. they needed a scapegoat selection, if things don't go India's way.

Some guy has had the best ever List A season in ages and then ignoring him sends what kind of message.

That domestics don't matter! Haven't done for at least a decade now, also that IPL stars can give two middle fingers to the rest of the team's interests & BCCI won't do jack :lollypop:

Not selecting Karun Nair and giving random diktats about players to play domestic cricket etc. means BCCI is more interested in posturing than actually valuing domestic cricket. Some guy has had the best ever List A season in ages and then ignoring him sends what kind of message.

*ing hypocrites, all of those posers in BCCI and those stupid new rules were just for show.no matter who the selector is all of them look for brand first then form.

Sai Sudarshan nowhere in scene despite brilliant debut at SA. Ro-Ko Mfers should hang their heads in shame for sucking the blood out of the team.

he was in England getting a surgery for sports hernia.

deservedly

Both Shami and Bumrah are still doubtful in terms of fitness. Siraj was okay in the world cup. Could have taken him in for his experience.

Arshdeep is pretty experienced now. Siraj does not have skill or control to work on flat decks

Siraj has had a huge workload last year. Better to rest him and get him to work on his game to evolve beyond his current level where he seems to have stagnated. He is not going to make much difference to the team in Dubai conditions anyway. Shami has been playing consistently in domestic odis for a while now
