Somebody has given the warning to that Railways bowler as well lol  Remember how Gill's sister was harrassed on social media after Gill's 100 trumped kohli's 100. Then the same Kohli  fans started tagging ICC by saying "Check Bumrah's action" . They are disgusting filthy mfs.

I forgot about Gill's sister. Rape threats because Gill's 100 stole the thunder from Kohli's 100, that too just an IPL game.

Pretty sure one day, Gill fans will do the same to some other youngster. Rot is too deep in our society.

Wow he isn't holding back, is he? He is voicing the views of most of us ICFers.

Only a matter of time before his wings are clipped and he is forced to toe the BCCI/broadcasters/sponsors line. If he doesn't mend his ways, things aren't going to end well for him. Remember how Kapil's pension was cancelled because of his ICL links, things are much worse today.

I doubt he cares about earnings that much. Mainly he earns from youtube, doesnt have many adverts. Is big enough to continue getting gigs outside India as well.

This is what happens when you behave arrogantly when on top like Kohli did in his peak. Everyone is now grinding their axe in his downfall.

This Johns guy is biggest Rohit PR. Likewise Muffadal Vohra for Kohli. These good for nothing SM accounts hold more power than many of our past legends, in shaping public opinion.

Hope after 2-3 IPL seasons, Ashwin moves to English or Aussie broadcasting networks. They too would love to have Indian representation and Ashwin will have good insights. If DK can gain popularity in Englisn circles, Ashwin will be a much superior analyst. Think he is a cricket nerd and not in this for money.

Indian cricket broadcasting is like North Korean media (godi media not far behind:creep: :phehe:), where individuality is crushed, 24x7 propaganda for certain vested interests.

Johns is Kohli PR, Vohra is Rohit.

R Ashwin on concussion substitution controversy: ‘Did we forget that it was an international match not an IPL?’

“What was this game? It was like a replica of the IPL. Supersub was there, and the game was played with an impact player,” Ashwin said on his hindi YouTube channel “Ash ki baat.”

“The entire controversy about how Harshit Rana came in as a concussion substitute for Shivam Dube. Did we forget that it was an international match not an IPL?

Like-for-like replacement Ramandeep Singh was sitting outside. I don’t understand,” said Ashwin.

“This is a case of pure cricketing miscalculation, either on the part of the umpires or the part of the match referee or whoever be it. Ramandeep Singh was there, a batter who can vall a bit, like-for-like for Shivam Dube. But not him. Harshit Rana was chosen as the concussion substitute. I think people in charge should look into this. Today it happened against England and hurt, some day India might be hurt too.”

Not his huge fan but always wanted to see him at somepoint to lead India in red ball at home atleast, never had the situation unfortunately to lead

Wanted to see how he leads that side at home

Wished leading peak India at 2016-2019/20 accidentally atleast

Quite sure he would have definitely beaten NZ recently, doing better than all time failure Rohit

The only other player who comes to mind is Shikhar Dhawan. On being dropped and Gill picked in place of him, he said that if I was the selector, I would've probably done the same. Bowed out with grace and acknowledging youngsters were better for the team than him. Here're a couple of links...

https://sports.ndtv.com/cricket/if-i-was-selector-shikhar-dhawans-stunning-response-on-shubman-gill-replacing-him-in-odi-team-3893726

https://www.freepressjournal.in/sports/if-i-was-selector-shikhar-dhawans-surprising-response-on-shubman-gill-replacing-him-in-the-odi-team-watch

Dhawan was true team man and punched above his weight in ICC tourneys. He was the MVP for our 2013 CT win, was the only player who showed up in 2015 WC SF against Aussies, and his injury in 2019 WC was what doomed us. If he had been fit for the SF, we win the SF against NZ.
