Hope he has one more innings in him for the finals More impressively, he actually attacked leg spin for a change when Zampa missed his length. Looked much more decisive while playing spin Ultimate_Game and rollingstoned 2
putrevus Posted March 4 Posted March 4 (edited) Another moron who started this thread.36 or 37 year old batsman is supposed to decline as they age. Nothing wrong in that, question which needs to be asked if Kohli still commands place in the team. He will be still first name on the team among any Indian batsmen. Edited March 4 by putrevus

Lord Posted March 4 Posted March 4 Top knock Moment chase was under 270, I knew Kohli would control it. Frustrated, Tillu, Need4Speed and 1 other 4

putrevus Posted March 10 Posted March 10 Rohit looks like he wants to keep playing, Kohli should play. He is better than most in odis.

He is probably going through the same bad patch. But he changed his techinque on the fly and started playing better percentage cricket even if it looks downright ugly. He is a survivor. Kohli si not . He just has to dangle the bat way infront of the pad. In ODI you don't have enough slips. Also in one dayer there is no movement after 3 overs. So that is why this weakness cannot be exploited.

Sachin in 2003-4 didn’t play a whole innings on the offside and scored 241 in Sydney. Sometimes, great players have to accept aging reflexes and turn up. Kohli is probably too proud to accept his handicap.

If kohli intends to play in 2027 ODI world cup, the tracks are bouncy. I am not sure, if its excesive cricket or age that declined his game against spin. Neverthless medicore since some times, condidering he was mediocre even in IPL
