Australia will be an easier game for India than SA. That attack of Dwarshish, Ellis and Spencer Johnson is cannon fodder.

Dont take anything for granted..new players always are out of syllabus for India..esp left arm fast bowlers.. :D

That's why he's no Buttler

Rohit has been giving us starts though.  Bring 1 ODI old Jaiswal in semis, I don't think anyone would do it.

He should have been playing lot more before to groom him for CT

I would bring him in over a player who's not 100% fit. Fitness has to be a non-negotiable and a player needs to be 100% entering a game.

Didn't Fakhar play 17 CT without much experience behind him?

Do we really wanna use Pak's method to (accidental) success?

If we look at large sample, such moves have generally failed. We saw what happened with SKY in 2023. There are other examples like SL bringing Randiv for 2011 final,Uthapa replacing SRT at top in 2007 WC etc.

I don't remember Aussies ever doing such stuff.

no they'll play Aaron Hardie

Let NZ face Australia in the Semis, India might get lucky if NZ manage to eliminate them.

Afghanistan did the favor during the 2024 T20 WC by eliminating Australia, let NZ do the honours this time..

i agree and that means we have to lose tomorrow as the we will face Saffers in the SF but its hard to tell a team to lose on purpose..

Yeah it's not like Team management will organize a meeting and plan to throw the match but treat it as a time to experiment, just play a team of inexperienced/youngsters who have not had a game so far in order to test Bench strength..If NZ manage to get away with a win and face Australia, let it be..

Difference being Jaiswal is a generational talent, greatest we have produced since Sachin. Also a fighter, more likely to succeed.

NZ is most likely to beat us in the final.

Only reason why Pakistan won, they took a gamble on a youngster.

Fortune always favors the brave. We may mock Pak's CT win but they showed more jigra than Ind, Eng in that tournament.

Majority of the past ICC victors were fearless (not just gamewise but also selection, tactics) and hence won.

You need atleast one youngster in every ICC tournament. They are not burdened by fear of failures.

That is only thing which  has been lacking in last decade. Indian team was not brave enough to make that one change.

India has won most matches in ICC tournaments in last decade but only one trophy.

Aaron Hardie will play.  Short used to bowl as well.

Cooper Connoly has an outside chance.

But hes played only one ODI. I wanted him to get games before CT but no point bringing him in now. It'll only put undue pressure on him.

Let him start afresh with a fresh team after oldies are kicked out.
