They play Aus and Aus has a newish pace attack. And if the pitch is holding up, Afg spinners can trouble them. They need to get Head early and the pressure will be on Aus. And in a shortened game, Afg batters only need to score quick 20s, 30s or 40s which they're more than capable of.

yes, sry meant aus, aus had batters who can out bat the afgn batter in terms of 6 hitting with heavy out-field due to rains and spin not getting much help will be hard for afgn team. Aus batting is still at their full strength.

Aussies are out if they lose Afghans, their NRR wont trump SA even if SA lose to England the next day,so Afghanistan vs Australia is a knockout game and we all know they can beat the aussies if  their spinners bowl well.

hope its a turner

Fit in time for the big event. CT jaye bhad mein

Can he be brought back for CT knockouts to replace an injured Shami? Just 2 games at max and even a 70% Bumrah will be much better than any other bowler.

Pretty sure Ambanis have made this decision. Even PM can't overrule that.

I'm sure Ambanis will relent fr 2 matches if Rohit Sharma and Jay Shah pay their "respect"

Congress leaders have been cought on video asking Pakitanis to take down Modi. Yasin Malik the terrorist who has confessed to have killed IAF officers, is being welcomed at the PMO.  Equating that with some cordial pictures taken with cricketers who have supported terrorists is not a fair equivalence. It is bad optics and could have been avoided, don't tell me it is the same as Yuvraj/Harbhajan/Sidhu uicking up to Pakistanis and asking Indins to contribute to Afridi's terrorist fund. . Who knows what they were happily discussing. I think Anurag was asking Afridi to disclose the location of his terrorist cousins.  :giggle:

Yesterday Sunil Gavaskar was seen in the Wasim Akram Show praising Imran Khan. Let's all slit our wrists. Puajara too was on the same show last week.

Our politicians across party lines are lowest of the lows. Still remember how that snake Shashank Manohar rolled out a green carpet at Nagpur in 2004 just to spite Dalmiya and Ganguly coz Dalmiya beat out Sharad Pawar for the top post. If he hadn't done so, Aus would still be looking for their first win in India since 1960s!

These guys have no morals and will do anything to further their goals or to put down their opponents. None of them actually care for the country or cricket. It's all about money and furthering their own goals. Why do you think Jay Shah is involved in cricket? It's not because of his love of cricket. He doesn't care about the team or the results. It's money and power he cares about. Same with all who came before him and will continue in the future. That's why India has punched below its weight.

Rohit is injured apparently and Gill is likely to lead the side for the NZ game.

Wonder if Pant or Sundar will get a look in

Jaiswal should replace Rohit. That's a no-brainer. Sundar or Varun C can come in to replace Shami and we go with a spin attack.
