DDLJ, KHNH, in fact most Yashraj and Dharma movies. Gadar, Jab We Met, Khosla ka Ghosla, I am sure @Mariyam can list 100 other examples.

Punjabis are portrayed well in Bollywood. Also all the actors, actresses, Khatri dominated, music scene as well.

Compare this to how South Indians, Bengalis are portrayed.

But the script writers, dialogue writers, lyricists all majorly Muslim - Sahir Ludhianvi, Kaifi Azmi, Majrooh Sultanpuri, Kader Khan, Javed Akhtar..etc...etc

We don't realize it immediately but very subtly through the language and script...for a long time Hindus and Sanatan were portrayed badly....either by mocking religious figureheads or the religion itself, while Muslims are always shown as pious and righteous.

Heard of this sick phrase  " Havas ka Pujari "  ? ......it has been repeated 100s of  times in Bollywood movies by these rascal Urdu script writers, with the intention to perpetuate this stereotype.

I believe this phrase means sexual lust...and they associate it with a Hindu Pujari.   Havas is not even a Hindi/Sanskrit word. It is an Urdu word - the Hindi/Sanskrit translation of it is Kamukta I think.

You would never see these rascal Urdu  writers  use " Havas ka Moulvi " ....otherwise there would be fatwas against them ...but against Hinduism, these mofos take all the liberties given how tolerant we are as a people.

And then there is PK.

Punjabi Bollywood / Urduwood is pure trash.... when you compare anything it has with the work of Bengali filmakers - the likes of Satyajit Ray, Hrishikesh Mukherji, Bimal Roy, Anurag Basu...etc etc...

Even South Indian filmmakers the likes of Mani Ratnam,  S.S Rajamouli, and other non-Punjabi/Urduwood ones like Sanjay Leela Bansali,  Barjatyas are way better .

I'm talking of characters that are played for laughs. Even in the movies they are shown like that. Geet from JWM is loud and talkative so had to be Punjabi.

That way movies like Devdas,Piku, Parineeta, Kahani etc represent Bengalis well.

Akhtar's perseverence and efforts for excellence desipte broken knees/legs is extraordinary. I can imagine how defeated someone might feel seeing his team's shoulders drop after 25 overs and 130 runs to go.

While I think Akhtar has his own quirks, he has been a realist on social media for quite some time. I can respect that.

akthar is a smart person he knows what to say when to say, he can be politically correct when he wants to be and blunt when he wants.

he mostly does not talk much about fast bowling much but when he talks he makes a lot of sense, he kind of knows alot.

he is the last superstar of pak cricket along with Shahid afridi, akthar is global star in cricket world, he know he can go after any1 when he has data points and there will be no backlash by any1, shaheen, babar, rizwan has similar kind of pr as dhoni, kolhi and rohit has. Saying anything about them can bring alot of negative sm attention for no reason. but that is not possible with akthar.

he never said babar is top batter because he knew it and though he talks about creating brand and bringing mny which he has no idea about. But he never compared babar to kolhi

Absolutely. The heroes are always a Raj Malhotra, Prem Khurana, Amar Singh, Amar Rathore, Vijay Dinanath Chauhan.

Leave aide comic appearances, Punjabis are over represented in Bollywood. In music too. And represented well.

North Indians have some representation.

Maharashtrians are cops and fisherfolk.

Gujjus and Marwaris are scheming Baniyas. Gujju entrepreneurship is never highlighted.

Muslims are either terrorists or nawabs from Lucknow saying "taqakloof taqaloof woof woof"

Punjabi colonisation of Bollywood all the way.

You mean you don't start conversations with balle balle and end them with burrrrah?

Why do they call them Pandat instead of Pandit? 22 Pandats

Just like they call him VRAAAT Koholi,  and  Sachan not Sachin.

They eat the i in pronunciation.

Its their PakPunjabi paindoo thing.

You would find Karachi based people pronounciating it more accuarely.

Oh the poor Hindus getting brainwashed by evil Islamic writers into hating their own religion. :(( Screenplay jihad?

Your havas ka pujari bit is pure conjecture. How did you conclude if it were the scheming Muslim dialogue writers who coined or popularized this? Just to build a narrative?

Quite possible that it is in usage from much before in the Hindi speaking areas of India.

Feel free to use kamukta ka moulvi

Also PK is written by Abhijat Joshi. His brother wrote OMG. Although it is rumoured that Abhijat himself ghost wrote OMG. A Gujju much like yourself. Surely you don't see an ulterior motive there!

Why do they call them Pandat instead of Pandit? 22 Pandats, 2 for each player, to do jaadu tona and black magic on Pak team. Hence they lost. Defeat jaadu tona with duayein. Duayein kam padi  kal.
Jaadu tona 1.

Duayein 0,

In Punjabi dehats its common calling Pandit as Pandatji.  Even in Pahari areas of HP its normal.

This clip looks parody to me.  Jhantu type studio as well:phehe:

You should have easily countered him ... All these one liners are made on Hindus coz we are in majority and relatability factor works only that way.

Also tolerance level in Hinduism is higher as well

Why are you upset with me @Mariyam ?

I am all for equality. Nothing other than equality matters to me.  I don't like appeasement - of anybody

For the longest time creative liberties have been taken over Hindu sentiments .....because people let it be.   And sometimes to an extreme.

Remember the MF Hussein painting episode na ?  Would he dare to do it against a figurehead from his own faith ?

People take Hindu tolerance for granted - all creative liberties come against Hindu astha and faith only.

This is not acceptable.

I would rephrase that. Religions and scripture I don't like to comment on. So I am going to generalize and comment on people.

It is an undeniable reality that Hindus are far more tolerant than Muslims.

Besides, movies are made for the masses ( most of whom are Hindus) and jokes/content on their mythology is easier to grasp.

If there were jokes on Muslim theology, first there would have to exposition to explain background etc.

The same logic behind ads using stereotypes. You needn't spend time and money on explaining stuff.
