But they still have to be ready for ICC tournament plus who is paying for them. Paying three venues for one match each might be expensive then just hosting all matches in one venue.

Yeah, why not hold the finals in India or anywhere in Subcontinent for that matter. I am quite sure we would have destroyed them in Asia.

And we didn't hear a peep from them during WT20 when India had to play their group games on those shyte, lottery pitches in NY. And then had to move to WI in the next round while Aus and some other SENA teams played the whole tourney in WI.

 

These m******ers don't say anything when these things happen but are the first to pipe up with any perceived advantage. TBH didn't expect this from Cummins. This is more down Michael Vaughan's alley.

England was decided as venue long before Aus made it to the final

Cummins is right that India is getting a huge advantage in this CT. Every other team need to acclimatize between Pakistan's flat pitches to Dubai's low & slow turners except India. If you think about it rationally, it is unfair to other teams. That is why I will not be too bothered even if we don't win this trophy as it will always have an asterisk.

 

Having said that, India travelled all over the country during 2023 WC and played every game in another venue where as teams like Pakistan was only restricted in Hyderabad and Chennai. Wonder why likes of Cummins never spoke up then? :hmmm:

Also there won’t be any travel time if you’re playing in a single venue improving recovery n mental fatigue of packing / unpacking. How ridiculous is this. I’m raising all these points becoz these will be easily targeted and they should be.

Lots of support & cold shoulder for Pakistan from Goras. Here is Jonathan Agnew, a British columnist. 

 

India-Pakistan game in Dubai 'makes a farce' of Champions Trophy, Agnew says

Agnew said it was "just not right" that India was getting favourable treatment in the tournament, which would see the giants of world cricket also play their semifinal at the Dubai venue.

"I feel very uncomfortable about the way that India is being treated at the moment," he told ABC Sport.

BCCI must keep it smart. If this continues, I sense a coup forming against India in world cricket soon.

 

India could have easily gone to Pakistan to play few games of this short tournament. Their hosting seems to be absolutely fine...so not sure what was the issue. It would have been fun to thrash them in Lahore as well. We cant bring politics everywhere...it spoils the fun of sports. Then all these additional drama of omitting "Pakistan" during the broadcast of Ind vs BD game, playing Jana Gana Mana by mistake in Karachi before Aus vs Eng game. Only a fool would think it was a mistake...LOL when entire broadcast is managed by Star Sports and background staffs are Indians. We have a terrific cricket team...its just that our politicians and VVIPs in cricket board need to stop being petty.

Doesn't that happen a lot of times in a multi venue tournament that one team has advantage of playing knockout at an already seen venue.

 

Example in 2023

Australia did not play a single match at Eden Gardens before Semis.

NZ didn't play any group games at Wankhede.

But it was a huge advantage to SENA teams. We can say the same thing, "Dubai was chosen as the venue before the tourney started". Whether Aus made it to the final or if it had been any other SENA team such as Eng, NZ or SA, the venue was in their favor. It was like an Away match for India and a de facto Home venue for SENA countries. But none of the SENA teams had any qualms with it.

Dubai also decided venu long before india made it to sf…. Also why icc/pcb dint hosted more stadium in UAE why crying now when things were decided from start. They are all crying as India inspite of having geriatric team still winning. BTW this hypocrite Cummins should have said same thing about wtc , why they host all final their wouldn’t it give undue advantage to sena team. Bloody hypocrites.

Much brouhaha about nothing, since the alternative is India skipping the tournament. India going deep into the tournament brings more revenue, so it's no surprise that favorable treatment is given. This is no different than star player Cummins getting so called favorable treatment with a fat paycheck while most of his team mates get paid less. He should take up social justice cause of equal pay instead of whining about imagined favors to the Indian cricket team.

UK is basically Pakistan 2.0

London & Birmingham are full of these Pakistani.
