She got in to the post because of reservations yet she was suppressing fellow Dalits. She got into IFS because of creamy layer reservations. Her father is a politician or MLA from RPI (Athawale party). Reservations are needed for non-creamy layer castes as all benefits are captured by rich lower castes for generations. Hence, the social mobility is captured by the rich among the OBCs while poorer castes hardly get in (case of the 12th fail movie guy in real life ) . It is very difficult for poorer lower castes to break out. Recently, an IAS officer got because of reservations and her father was already an IAS officer and had earned crores!!
