guys - you all have criticised Gautam but see some of his decisions which have all proved to be correct.

 

AXAR Playing ahead of KL Rahul has made sure a left right combination and when ever AXar has come he has made sure that the run rate that was nose diving has picked up again and a wicket is not lost. axar tries to play a selfless innings..makes run fast. in one of the matches he scored a 60 + score too. axar had oppostunities to do better than that. during the middle axar continues to hit the spinners insted of bogging down.  a correct decision which has Paid off.

 

1. Harshit rana played ahead of sardar arshdeep in few matches ..check harshit's bowling analysis , he has done very well. picking Harshit ahead of Mukesh Kumar.
2.  When jaddu/kuldeep and axar were doing OK , gautam picked varun the mystery spinner and did not drop Kuldeep. spinners won us the match.
3. Shammi was played and he delivered and got crucial wickets including a fifer in 1 match
4. even playing KL ahead of Rishabh. KL has made crucial runs and kinda won us matches. not even once has he

If NZ and aus test series loss is his problem then this win is to his credit. Decision he took appeared irrational but at the end all justified.

KL ahead of Rishabh any day...KL is much better rotator of strike and can lay shots without taking risk whereas Rishabh either plays his shots or blocks..he is better only in red ball

Not both as Jaiswal is ahead as a pure batter. And we need more multi-dimensional players like Parag in the team who can bowl a few. If both Pant and KL play, we're back to 5 specialist bowlers.
