putrevus Posted March 9 Posted March 9 If ace bowler and spinners showed up on Nov 19 both Rohit and Kohli would have said goodbye today. The Hound 1
Prabhdeep Singh Posted March 9 Posted March 9 I would like to Rohit to work on his fitness if he intends to continue, he has to be the most optimal version of himself, great innings today, pure class.

putrevus Posted March 10 Posted March 10 (edited) On a Pitch where guys like part time spinner Bracewell outbowls all Indian spinners.Batsmen did just fine. NZ bowlers showed the heart which was missing from Indian bowlers on Nov 19. India was 105/0 still NZ bowlers never gave up till last over that too with their ace bowler missing the match. Once It was clear Shami was having off day on Nov 19, match was over.Forget winning there was no fight either. Edited March 10 by putrevus

They were looking good for 300 at 10 over stage. Even for spinners it didn't turn that much. They were just very accurate and didnt allow any free runs.

Lord Posted March 10 Posted March 10 So he's saying he's not sure of playing 2027. Needs to take that call now. No point blocking Jaiswal if hes not gonna play 2027 https://x.com/CricCrazyJohns/status/1899078527351415090 Ultimate_Game 1

Rohit will be 40 then with fading fitness and inconsistent. Having him in the team ahead of Jaiswal would be criminal when Jaiswal can give you the same aggression at the top of the order as his 6 hitting in Tests and performances in T20 & IPL show. We can't have someone like Jaiswal waiting to make his ICC tourney debut in 30s when we already see what Rachin has done for NZ and Jaiswal is better than Rachin! ODIs are played on flat pitches and IMO will be Jaiswal's best format. We've to unleash Jaiswal and I expect him to be a batter who averages 55 with a SR of 110. Would be perfect ally to Gill and a left-right combo to boot. Lord 1
