Mavi was never a 145+ kph bowler whereas Mayank was able to hit 155! Will be very disappointed if Mayank goes the same way.

Mavi clocked 149+ with multiple 145+ deliveries in his debut IPL in 2018 right after clocking 145+ in U19 WC that year He had pace in abundance with terrific seam movement Mavi was no less when he burst into the scene,he was all set to be the next big thing in Indian cricket but like many pacers he too was lost We don't learn ,we tend to waste these guys and then we cry ,pacers are rare,need to look after them Tyagi,Umran,Mavi,Sen, now Mayank seems going the same way BCCI can't waste them go rollingstoned, bouncers, express bowling and 2 others 5

His max pace was high 130s and generally bowling in low to mid 130s.

You must have watched him from IPL 2020 He suffered stress fracture and remained out of cricket for two years and came back in IPL 2020,he was Boobie 420.0 from there on express bowling 1

Tune in for a few select ones and catch the ones over the weekend. The very fact I don't recall Mavi doing anything of significance shows he was never that much of a difference maker.
