He should have ideally retired after the 2023, gone for someone like Jaiswal, Iyer, or Pant to lead the team into the future & let the team rebuild. Dhoni & the team's greed to milk his poularity is destroying the franchise. Turned the franchise into Dallas Cowboys. All drama and show, no performances.

Vk1 Posted April 1 Posted April 1 CSK is actually lucky that they haven't faced 220+ scores. Credit to them for picking Noor & Patheerana.

vvvslaxman Posted April 3 Author Posted April 3 CSK had Sai Sudarshan, Sai Kishore, Jagadeesan, Sharukh. They hardly gave chance to local talents.
IndianRenegade Posted April 3 Posted April 3 The think tank lead by Dhoni is brain dead, they could have got them for base price. Now most of them will go for multiple crores. 1 hour ago, vvvslaxman said: CSK had Sai Sudarshan, Sai Kishore, Jagadeesan, Sharukh. They hardly gave chance to local talents.

Stephen fleming made his fellow NZlander rich. TNPL is such a competitive lower level T20 league. SO many talents are available. I don't think they do any kind of scouting

I don't think they do any kind of scouting CSK scout is on record that the management ignored his inputs. i think dhoni’s thought process changed as he became old, he just cares about players who he is comfortable with rather than the next generation, the team management only cared about milking Dhoni as long as they can. They now have a horrible bench as a result. Edited April 3 by IndianRenegade Ultimate_Game 1
tweaker Posted April 4 Posted April 4 In what could be a game-changer for both Ayush Mhatre and Chennai Super Kings, the 17-year-old Mumbai opener has been called up for a mid-season trial by the franchise. If successful, Mhatre could be included in the CSK squad

There's no reason for us not to be like Australia with the kind of resources at our disposal but we can't get past "King" Kohli, "Hitman" Sharma, "Thala" Dhoni When we should be fast tracking in likes of Jaiswal, Sai Sudarshan, Nitish Reddy, Ashutosh Sharma etc. we're still discussing how we can carry Rohit and Kohli to the 2027 WC in SA, and these oldies are the first names on team sheet for Tests despite no performances Rohit nearly finished the career of Bumrah with his incompetency while claiming to "monitor his workload" in Australia, and that was after he and Kohli were the main reasons India was whitewashed at home by an average Kiwi side for the first time in our history. Yet there're no repercussions. vvvslaxman, Lord, Teengunalagaan and 2 others 1 1 3
