looks very legit. How can they get OS for an Indian player

Useless investment. Vansh Bedi is going to rot here with CSK without doing anything just because he is a keeper. Why can't they play him as supersub.

Coz they had only 7 O/S players to begin with?

That was their choice in the auction. You shouldn't get to fix that through injury.

They can retain Brevis too. This is why they didnt get him for Gaikwad

Yes, but I don't think there is a rule that prohibits them from doing it.

Gurjap Singh did a Ishant and jumped frim

20th floor to get injured? Kuch bhi? Why couldn’t some uncapped bench player be replaced with a local :wall:

Shaw would have been more useful.

There should be simple rule. OS for OS, local for local.

But the point is there isn't any such rule.

I was actually expecting RR to get an overseas batsman as an injury replacement, because they have no O/S bat except Hetmyer, and they only have six O/S in the squad.

MI once were able to play 5 overseas players citing "injuries" to local players and their "inability" to find local replacements :giggle:

Never underestimate MI's sneakiness and their penchant for bending & breaking rules. Even umpiring in their matches becomes a case study for umpires academy.

Both MI and CSK do that. Thala is an uncapped player apparently :giggle:

Ofcourse they won't allow anything against rules. But the rules themselves can be bended and lack common sense. Like the uncapped rule to retain Dhoni

I won't allow you to denigrate an icon like Thala in this crass manner :bumsmack: Thala is the WG Grace of Indian cricket and people come to watch him. The change to uncapped rule simply allowed people to enjoy Thala more. Just ask Rayudu :agree:

MI on the other hand have institutionalized cheating and taken underhandedness to an art form. MI would make Sanga, Jayawardene and SL team of old look like school kids when bending the rules and "interpreting" cricketing laws are concerned.

There's no comparison between the legend of IPL and Ambanis. It's a fight between the good and evil. We're witnessing the epic Mahbharata unfold in front of our eyes with  Thala & CSK the last bastion pushing back against the evil (MI and Ambanis). And Rayudu is the modern day Sanjay narrating the epic to us commoners from commentary box :hail:
