He may not be pinnacle of t20 batting and may have some flaws but this is the kind of batting you need in t20 to out bat opposition.

wkts were falling frm other end he could have played single/doubles and still considered a good innings but he kept the tempo-up never let the opposition gain ground from his end.

 

Have been saying this in t20s there is no need for dedicated anchor whose only role is to anchor, this way team are setting up for just par scores. At highest level one of the top5 batter in the team should be able to navigate the team in case of initial wkts.

 

20 overs are not that much wkts are batting friendly.

He reminds me of a typical Pakistani “aggressive” batsmen. Not comparing with that new guy who scored a 100 in t20, this guy looks much more assured than him. However just his hitting style, footwork and daleri to slog from any situation.

He is actually a power hitter we might need. Should also try him out in middle order. We lack serious hitting skills there. This guy is a natural 6 hitter and spinner killer. Already like him over Dubeyji. However still bit of a hack.

Abhishek tries to pull anything short and some time gets late on that, but he hits it from sq. leg to deep mid wkt.

 

Both batters have same approach, get quick runs and hit multiple boundaries both are able 6 hitter from the looks of the things right now.

 

This match showed that Abhishek was able to manipulate the field too. Arya is good prospect too.

 

Amongst Jaiswal, Arya, Abhishek can some1 start keeping wkts?? 

 

This is a big season for local players. Arya, rathi, vipraj, aniket had a good knock too.

These guys look like proper t20 players playing for the team, prab too he may not be intnl quality but everytime he plays he make sure he plays for the team in his limitations.

 

Del. league is going to get big now with so many player able to have good debut ipl season, previously it use to take sometime for Ind uncapped player to get settle in ipl

Obviously. ABhishek has come through ranks. So he is familiar with more strokes.

Arya also coming through the system think he was amongst fringe u19 player, its hard to get into del team and to keep it.

 

Even at group levels ppl move out of del to find place in other state teams
