To most Americans her first name is named after a state. Very few here know Georgia is a country and a few decades ago I caused an accidental bar fight in Savannah, Georgia ( I wasn't involved in this one) by being drunk and projecting my voice ( my grandpa did puppetry as hobby and taught me how to throw voice a bit) and yelling out " Stalin was a georgian". 

It was always followed by someone going " eff you new yorker, eff you bostonian, eff u new England people "  and after half an hour of this, people just started beating each other up and we left.

Americans are worse. I have never seen a Muslim start a fight coz he is too horny and can't get laid coz bar closed and he is out of time. This happens in American cities 50 times per city per night at closing time. 

 

Muslims come off as people with very short fuse and easy to trigger, Americans come across as people who wanna fight u coz they are just bored. 

 

As for fighting over football, that's common on anglo island. They still got nothing over Latinos. Check out the war that started in the 70s between costa Rica and Honduras over a fifa world cup qualifier match where one side bribed the referee and won by absurd 7-1 score or something, other side found our next day that ref was bribed and so they declared war and fought a war over a few months over it. No joke !!

Uhh...ofcourse jainism was kicking and alive. so was buddhism. In every corner of India. This isnt western dehaat or arab dehaat where only one religion thrives. But ofcourse, patronage-wise, what CHOLAS THEMSELVES WERE, is hardcore shaivists.

Actually Shungas never controlled Takshashila. They didnt go past Mathurain the west and Bareilley/Uttarakhand region in the north.

Because when the Maurya dynasty fell, the Greco-Bactrians invaded (they were allies, as both were buddhist and marrying into one another)- who left once they faced rebellion in bactria ( this caused bactrian greeks to split from their indian counterparts) but retained control of gandhara-sakala region and under Milinda (Menander), they expanded up to Mathura.

 

Shungas probably did nothing against the buddhists, as there is direct expansion and donations to buddhist stupas like Sanchi under Shungas. They probably are villanised because they were the first brahman dynasty in a long time and took over from the buddhists and the legends over this got written down over 4 centuries later in Sri Lanka.
