@TilluAnna, there was a news of the Naval dockyard as well, INS Varsha or something. A super "not so secret" dock port for hosting our SSBN's.
The town was near Gopalpuram if I'm not wrong, around 200kms from Vizag down south coast line.

A good opposition party should be screwing the govvt. & dragging ISRO chairman to explain this. Instead the opposition is crying over a movie, what the US president said today about India or how they can give 100% reservation in your toilet.

Opposition can do so much really... But Pappu and his Paapis are busy in ranting Adani and Vote Chori non sense...  Worst opposition in Indian history.. coinciding with an inept governance.

What sins we did to deserve this?

Pappu is busy making reels on Karan Aujla songs in Germany.  Top ji himself is running on vibes atp

The key thing is what is the cost behind all of this...isro is a profitable enterprise with funds raised from satellite launches. The isro chairman can and will gladly justify this.

The engine is the most technically difficult part of any process. We have always struggled with engines be it arjun tank kaveri. It costs billions. The chinese reportedly have spent 20 billion usd simply to get the c919 commercial single body off the ground.

As mention before, the biggest vanity is the size of our armed forces. We end up paying 20 billion usd a year more than needed in salaries and pensions. Ofcourse rage baiting twitter post will never call that out. Most come from "fauji" families..

This 22 in 5 years seems to be impacted by the covid 19 period. Highly misleading.

This is their earning rate over 10 years

I think this is more than enough to justify some of the side hustles. It allows them to attract scientists.

Lol ISRO has literally 33% success rate this year alone.

They have been asked to pull miracles in a meagre 1 billion USD budget.

No wonder ex Chairman has to come openly and say that top talented Kids aren't interested in joining ISRO anymore.

NVS03 was supposed to be launched this year I think and has been pushed to 2026m now.

All that focus is on that useless Gaganyaan project which is not necessity but a luxury and PR stunt for media and sarkari institutions.

Ups and downs keep happening.

I agree 1 billion budget is low.

But gayangan has its own budget.
