ISRO chairman must be hounded to declare what the actual f**k is happening This is simply unsustainable. Country's Natsec should be non negotiable. All our critical military satellite launches have failed in last couple of years. They don't care about how funds are distributed, how some states are deliberately being sidelined, how power is abused to get things done, How projects are given to friends and families. There is gross oversigth of these projects. Anyone who raises questions are labelled or threatened with tax investigation. Keep the country in perpetually chaotic state. Nothing that you bring up against them will stick. They drown such voices through powerful social media narratives. Is Nirmala sitharaman qualified ? I know she blamed olaa for auto industry slow down, also implied cutting down intake of onion when she talked about price. Can't recall. But many of her comments are naive. Is it a caste based appointment? Many appointments are questionable in this government.

That entire belt from Punjab to HP to Jammu to Kashmir has been reliant on a combo of direct Central Gov Funds and Indirect funds (joining armed forces) (Punjab HP and Jammu). No real other industry. In Uttarakhand, Dhami has done a splendid job in reining in the debt. You could say while UP and Bihar get a lot of attention for gobbling central funds (rightly so), this belt too is bankrolled by the likes of Haryana, Delhi, Maharashtra Guj Karnatak and TN. More indirectly through the defence budget, given these states are at the forefront of recruitment. But this makes a lot of sense given they are border states as well. singhvivek141 1

The issue is debt that certain states are accumulating rapidly. CG has to strike a balance. Considering India was a fragile 5 economy, Modi gov must be commended for keeping spending in check. Just hope they are looking into RCA on a war footing, they should also consider increasing ISRO budget, pass the necessary reforms to increase pay at STEM based govt. positions so they can attract top quality talent.
