This is the 18th largest city in China. This is how a 19 trillion economy looks like. A 10 trillion economy is when we will hit the critical mass and go into an infrastructure and urban planning overdrive.

I already see so much development and great infra projects with just a 4 Trillion economy. Hope we sustain atleast the current growth rates for the next 15 to 20 years for a better tomorrow.

Issues with Pakistan are a minor distraction in the larger scheme of things. We should put our heads down and work towards a better economy till the foreseeable future.

Economic development is of no use as the islamists inside dont care about these..

They just want to convert the land into an M majority...Once thats done..it's a matter of time of 20-30 before the whole world is converted into land of Allah.

I donno man, I am optimistic about the future. The fertility rate of every demography is dropping at an alarming rate. We will have a good idea of the population numbers after the next census is taken.

The largest religion by district as per the 2011 census.

This is female workforce participation rate by country. This is one of the best parameters which I could find that correlates the best with extremism. I believe mohammed bin salman has it figured out, so he is working on the same.

185 countries, ~31 countries per page. Go to page no. 6 directly.  See the countries from rank 170-185.

Was really surprised to see such low rates of female workforce participation even from western countries.

VisualCapitalist is a great site to get your daily dose of infographics. OurWorldinData is also a great site for info like this. If you are really interested in sites like this, Voronai is a great app on Playstore which is a one stop app which pulls all the latest infographics from different sites like VisualCapitalist, Statista, OWInData and presents them at a single location.

China at 61% and India at 33% is expected as the education budget of China trumps India's budget by an enormous margin.

China's yearly education budget is 900 billion dollars and India's is 15 billion dollars.

When we have such a huge segment of uneducated population, we need to create labour intensive industry clusters everywhere especially in states like UP, Bihar and West Bengal.

Currently all the growth and new industries for UP is happening only in Noida. UP needs to have 4 Noida like cities to accelerate our growth.

1. Moderate is the best. Like 45-55%. You could check out the countries in this range. world average is 51 iirc.

2. Too much percentage probably could be sign of feminist influence in society.

3. And anyways, women are in many cases taking up job of a male potentially. For marriage, job is important for males, not as much for females.

No really, it all depends on the law and order situation, that's where a citizen's vote power is important.

What happened in WB is because state govt allowed it to happen, neighboring Assam has even worse demographics, still didn't see the violence because the Law & order would F*ck anyone who dares. You won't see such mass scale destruction in UP, Gujarat, South India.., regardless of all the issues, law & order is still robust.

India's private sector is a disgusting joke India is the only major economy in the world where the govt spends a higher % on R&D than the private sector? I say give a 2 year amnesty to these jokers, and let them get wiped out by cheap imports if they not reform.

Big example. Lava mobiles was founded in 2009 and Xiaomi in 2010. Look at where both are today.

Even Chinese private sector really started to invest heavily in R&D only after they became a 6 trillion economy due to the rising labour costs.

We don't even have a mature manufacturing sector and where does the incentive to invest heavily from the private sector come from.

Our service sector as well is dominated by the US tech giants and here too we don't have the incentive to invest in R&D spending. Atleast the US tech giants are opening Global Capacity Centers in India and hiring Indians for their R&D work.
