India did cutdown its exports to promote the textile business of Kangladesh, it provided more raw materials to them so they could grow. They grew at the cost of Indian textile MSMEs. Big mistake to rear a snake in the backyard. No more favors to them and India gets back its market share.

Economic development - jobs, propery taxes, revenues taxes to state and center, Good  for GDP. This is the standard model since SEEPZ in Mumbai.

All of those are not 'ehsaan' to the country. They can very well purchase it at reasonable price.

I am pretty sure they would have purchased it at a hefty price paid  to the ministers/politicians/Babus.  Add Judges too.  They are in on this loot.

Interesting documentary on how Chinese Cancer patients source generic Cancer drugs from India. They even made a movie called "Dying to Survive" in 2018 which was a huge boxoffice success.
