This is well known to me for a decade.

There used to be a channel "Desi Megamind" which used to expose plagiarism. It talked about this.

Jab koi baat bigad jaye too is a copy of 500 miles.

Copying songs is one thing. Bro copied national anthem :hatsoff:

There used to be multiple "Eagle Gangs" & ""Bichho Gangs" in schools post movie.

Kids who had a Ranger, Hercules or Hamilton bicycles will roam on the streets as a flock with headbands representing themselves as one of the above mentioned Gang members.

Gosh!!, those were some days. We all had a multipurpose hockey stick in our bicycles.

Somebody with a lot of time I compiled this. Banda copied the Godfather theme music, !!

We must be so creatively bankrupt to blatantly copy so many tunes. I really hope we are not doing the same atleast now.

They should atleast use sources which are difficult to find, like this one. :laugh:Keeravani later accepted that he got inspired from this video game music.

All said and done it was still a great adaptation. The first soundtrack to use Sanskrit lyrics to amplify the heroism.

Before the internet days, RD Burman has copied  been inspired from a lot of songs from Western sources, which we know now.

Identify this song:

He copied from all the popular songs.

"Raja ko Rani se Pyar ho gaya" from Godfathers music was the funniest after the Israel Anthem.:cantstop:

"Cherry cherry lady" tune was also copied by Bappi Da for his Jubi Jubi song from Dance Dance.

Yeah the most famous evergreen song of Mehbooba from Sholay I believe.

Everybody seeks inspiration from one thing or the other at the end of the day. But instead of blatantly lifting the tunes, lyrics or movie scripts entirely, they should look to cleverly mask it by giving their own touch.

AR Rahman too have a few tunes of plagiarism in his discography but he was never this blatant.

Even western artists copy. Even Christopher Nolan found inspiration from a Japanese anime for his movie Inception but nobody criticises him because they gave it his own touch instead of blatantly copying.

Even iPhones onscreen keyboard and other design aspects were copied.

The GUI idea which we see in Mac and Windows operating systems were copied from Xerox Parc.

Steve jobs once famously said,

"Good artists copy. Great artists steal".

Our artists are still in the copying stage and needs to graduate to the next level of stealing.

Attractiveness is subjective. Beauty is objective.

This is what Gemini AI has to say

Yes, the concept of beauty is largely considered subjective, meaning that what one person finds beautiful, another may not. This is because beauty is not solely an objective quality of an object, but also involves personal preferences, cultural background, and individual experiences.
