PR pieces are out asking for Gill to be made T20 captain. Never make another player bigger than Indian cricket.

And it's the usual set of gloom and doom masters. Funny to see some of them accuse other players of using PR when every second post of theirs is on Iyer, before and during test series and now before Asia Cup as well.

Since Gill is the VC, he will be in starting XI. So who misses out? Abhishek, Sanju or Tilak?

The problem isn't the player. Just that he doesn't fit in the larger scheme of things.

Probably at no. 3, before SKY. Tilak Varma might be the one to get the axe. Doesn't look that bad a deal if that's the case.

No amount of PR will make a player big. Performances have to be there for any player to gain stature.

 

Some players get some tags without  performances and can stay in the team.But to become superstars you need to have performances at some stage.
