Why use a word like moron on a forum where we discuss cricket and have friendly banter? It's okay to disagree but NOT okay to fling insulting words at fellow cricket enthusiasts! BTW, even after becoming fat, Mathews was a gun fielder, taking forward dive catches. Unlike that supremely fit guy who has dropped catch after catch!

For some reason, I've always seen him perform in matches where SL loses. He scores a great 50 or 100 to make the loss margin better

On topic, he was a great player at one point - one of the top allrounder. Sadly, age got the better of him. Also was part of an amazing SL team who had so many legendary players. Good luck to your future endevoirs.
