No I dont think its money. How much revenue would BCCI make out of Asia cup ? 300cr ? It can be generated by playing any nation. I think its more than money.

Hockey has very little money, then why are we inviting them there? That too for an AHF event, not FIH. Anyway there is a WC qualifying event next year with 7 slots, why must we look out for Pakistan? 

 

Clearly GOI wants to normalize relations with Pak despite Munir's steadfast commitment to using terrorism in JK. Dhandos already having cold feet about IWT suspension, so preparing the public for reneging on that threat to padosi mulk.
