No he is not. Agarkar was wicket taking machine in odis.He had nearly 300 odi wickets.

He gets hit in middle of a wicket taking spell, irrespective of formats

Saw it often in IPL this season and before

He should not be played in any format can loose you from a certain win with his one over,that sort of power cannot be borne by an mortal team like India

He has no concept of getting out of the over safely. He just doesn't have the cricketing smarts. I would rather play Krunal pandya over him.  or even Rashik salam

Agarkar may have been inconsistent series-to-series. Off one match, on another.  But not over-to-over or ball-to-ball like this guy.

His biggest problem was his lack of height.He bowled very hittable deliveries but he had a very good outswinger,could get any batsman out.

He definitely looks like one with an  innocuous mind. You derail him off his plans he will easily collapse. Biggest fear is this happening in a world cup knockout game.

He is also bowling in a lot of series these days. If we have plans to take him to South Africa it may be good for him to go through a full county season.

Called this useless so called "phaast bowler" long time ago. Is still shyte especially in the white-ball formats. Keep him for Tests (though I disagree there as well) but should not be anywhere near our LOI team just like Siraj.
