Don't understand why the team management of these teams seem obsessed with these bowlers, there should be some X factor like height, swing or pace and there should be a minimum threshold for pace. Why are such bowlers being persisted with and worse the likes of Tyagi and Umran are struggling to get games

Vidyadhar was a student of Dravids coaching academy. Not sure if thats the reason.

But most of the selections are influence based

Vyshak has bowled his heart out...hitting 127-135kph but getting seam movement and regularly hitting the edge of the batters.

But now it seems J&K has battled out the tough phase..spinners at both ends and both J&K batters are much more comfortable.

Pace also matters, Prasidh is able to extract more life as he is bowling quick and able to extract bounce.

Patil is neither bouncy nor pacy. Just your avg line length trundler.

Vyshak too isnt quick, but he is able to generate bounce and seam movement.

Eager to see how Yudhvir goes here. He will hit the deck hard as well

JK winning will be a watershed moment  in Indian cricket. Karnataka has won enough.

And a tight slap to rich federations like TNCA, CAB who have failed to win a single Ranji title for 30 years or so.

Hope J&K wins the trophy. It will be such a boost for cricket in that state.

Hopefully they should have some international stadium and matches there in near future.

Srinagar hosted a couple of matches in 80s, Indian team was booed and there were religious chants against kafirs. Even now in their stadiums for local matches, you hear pro-Pak and azadi slogans, woh bhi camera ke saamne.

If JK should get a stadium, Jammu is the only candidate. But being so close to the border and with constant security challenges, I have my doubts whether it will be worth it.

Reckon they will have one at Budgam Kashmir & other one close to Jammu Punjab border.

Budgam one I guess is the first one on the list.

Budgam one is waste of money. Why pampering Kashmiris so much?

It's relatively safer place than rest of the valley other than that Idk.  Kashmiris always get first preference when it comes to everything in that region

Headbutt from Paras Dogra, missed it man

He was heavily sledged.

Someone at the silly point crossed a line and that irked him.

He is anyway a Ranji veteran with 20+ years of experience...shouldn't have done that but it seems pressure of final have taken a toll on him.

I know it hosted few internationals but it was different time.

If they host now in new stadium, it will mean start of new era.

1982 finals repeat loading. I remember this match quite well, but had to go and check the scoreboard for specific details:

Karnataka 705 a.o.

Delhi 707/8. Mohinder Amarnath (mental toughness GOAT) made 185 before 2 tailenders Rakesh Shukla and Rajesh Peter carried Delhi through on a tense Day 5. Sad day for KNTK fans.
