New player in our team. Has played just 5 FC for us. So I was not aware that Himanshu Singh is a bowler. 

In Ranji, main players of team like Sarfaraz Khan, especially one who needs to get back in groove having recovered from injury needs to get more game time. You need specialist batsmen to develop for next level which is very tough. This night watchman tactic by captain Shardul Thakur was a mistake imo. Even if they desperately wanted a  night watchman, for a reason unknown to us, they could have asked Shardul Thakur or Shams Mulani to bat, both of whome having showed they can play match winning knocks for Mumbai.
