Anyways thought of Kamboj and Gandul trundling isn't a bright one over Kuldeep 

Last year SL played 4 seamers and easily chased down 220+ in fourth innings. Depends on how much grass the pitch has. 

 

People don't understand one simple thing, in England, aus, NZ, sa only fast bowlers will win you the game.  You can play four spinners of you want. It won't matter. If pacers don't take wickety, forget winning like in this old trafford game.

Three seamers are fine. 3 seamers plus two spinners. No shardul. Arshdeep in place of kamboj.

No team playing in England has ever played short of 4 seamers, there is not even precedent. What incentive do they have to do such a thing; they tried 3+2 the one time and it failed miserably in the WTC 2021 final.

4+2 is arguably the best. If you do 3 + 2, you are one seamer short. If you do 4+1 you leave out the off-spinner like you did to Ashwin, which lo and behold failed in our second attempt at the WTC in 2023!

Now would you really play 3 spinners in England, since most people want them to play Kuldeep? Would they really go 3+3 instead of 4+2? Will they really play 3 spinners and 3 pacers instead of 4 pacers and 2 spinners (Jaddu and Washi).

Arshdeep in Kamboj out Arshdeep is proven international player.  Siraj done for the series needs to pick Rana over him

Best option for batting so far. I would take a risk and play Prasidh in place of Siraj/Atshadeep becaise the Oval pitch is bouncy. Back of length deliveries will be better there.

Why didn't they send a SOS to Rana instead of Kamboj. That was disatrous debut and would have shattered his confidence giving him just 11 overs.

Perfect storm. Best batting conditions of the series, He was bowling 10k slower than usual. Gun barrell straight. No movement.  I would have felt for him had he bowled quicker and not earned anywickets on this pitch. But he didn't even try to bowl quicker .

I am expecting Jaiswal to do well in the next match. He got a couple of good ones. But few of them were rash shots.

Bumrah is anyway out. Kamboj is self explanatory. Siraj should be rested. Arshdeep-Akashdeep were inured. Who are the net bowlers? One of them should definitely play like Gabba. Prasiddh will unfortunately return.
