That would have been the lowest point of many players' professional lives. Not everyone can mask their sadness or frustration immediately after such a low.

Nidahas was a one off and his career highlight for a reason but against Kangludesh fits him well.

I rate his performance against Pak at home (Eden test) in 2005 and the Eng series in 2007. I think he was top scorer in 2007, and as an opener in English conditions, really great feat. Took a blinder in slip to dismiss G. Smith in the virtual QF of 2007 WT20. 

 

Otherwise a proper mental midget. Had ability but not the mindset.

Iyer should have been in that 2019 squad.They would have won.That playing XI had three wks.DK was useless so was Dhoni. Both of them could have been left out.

 

Rayudu was a useless investment , they should have given Iyer those chances,

This is a poor mentality and why good people cannot stand up against those with corrupt intentions. Good people being soft is what allows bad people to prosper. 

 

And this blind worship of old people, no matter what they do, mentality is why so many of past evils can never be eradicated in india, and we still have things like honor killings and other evils because we show "extra consideration" based on age. 

 

On one hand Indians keep moaning about the country never truly progressing from the past, corruption etc being rampant, new generation being helpless, and on the other same people preach about blindly respecting age and compromising on morals and values. What a schizophrenic world view.
