India and China are destined to have friction and conflicts ( hot and cold ), until the CCP is gone. They know - they have maxed out on their peak growth, while we are at a take off stage due to demography. Even their own internal assessments project average growth of 3 - 3.5 % to 2060, whereas India can keep growing at 6.5-7 % due to demography payoff stage. This differential means by 2060, our GDPs will be in the same ball park. By then their total population will be 60 % of ours and much much older. We will have a much younger and multiple times the workforce for many more years of good growth. Long story short - they know India is going to be the focus of growth and attention and they will do everything to harm and disrupt India's growth. If they had better leaders - they could use our massive markets ( now and the future ) to sustain higher growth for decades as India per capta income and disposable income increases. But China feel we will be too strong then and its better to weaken India vs. Pak than take commercial advantage of India to fuel their own growth. Stupid short sighted thinking. Sangh parivar has WAY less friction with them on historical basis. US and deep state will try to woo the opposition and regional satraps.
