Others were translating Russian and Mandarin to English and he was clearly respo ding to that. How hard is that not to understand. Xi clearly  said, let's go eat Momos later and Modi was laughing.

I think it is curse of middle East.

 

Every one these wants to be called as thakedaar of Islam('we wuzz true caliph saar"). Turks, persians, Arabs, Sunni, shia etc.,

1. Replace Saudi as the head of Islamic Caliphate

2. Bring back the glory days of Ottoman Empire

 

Turkey was the leader of Islamic ummah, until AtaTurk abolished the same. Erdogan wants to bring back those days. For that, he need the support of Islamic nations, hence he is playing his cards.

Turkey neither has the size, nor the economy to take leadership. Old man erdogan does not realize it.

They are playing a long game.  Their foreign policy is as flexible as India sometimes.

This is a cope ... chinks have fought high intensity wars in Korea and Vietnam.  That too when it was dirt poor.

 

With their  insane production capabilities with cutting edge technology.. they are serious challengers to US
