Hope Gambhir pulls something and forces them into retirement. INdia has never had this many options. Jaiswal is yet to make debut. That is crazy. Look what it did to our team in the Tests. ODI is possibly the easiest format where you can tuk tuk , statpad without much risk and also without much threat. Literally anyone can come and do even better.

Jaiswal has made his debut in odis, played 1 game vs eng. One test match is a v.small sample size to say if it was a good move to move-on from senior players or not.

But talking of odi wc-27, can see other teams planing and trying to sort out thing but Ind is thinking of playing same side and not going to try new players.

As mentioned no case can be made for a newer player when compared to rohit and kolhi , you do not get to play at intnl level till the age of 37 and pushing 40 unless you are one of the greats or shoib malik.

Odi being the easiest format these days for the batters where they can play as they like and so many batters have avg in 50s, do not know what right combination is.

Team are scoring fast and big teams are moving away from  tuk tuk cricket, can this harm Ind, teams are scoring in 300+ even in Icc events on regular basis.

And in 1-1.5 yr Ind odi team will be a team which does nt have a single batter (baring pandaya)from t20i side unless they keep pushing gill into t20i side<-- Think Ind is already that team but some of them just retired.

So rest of the teams will have couple of fast scoring batter where else Ind wont.

Just thinking ahead of the time -- Ind has only 1 fast bowler in odis as they have  or looks like moved on from siraj, wont be able to go to wc in sa with bhumrah + Pandya as pacers and stack spinners kind of plan. and  pandaya wont be able to bowl 10 overs.

India should go with multi dimensional players bat deep, bowl deep. Cover all the bases. Go with fearless young team which means  kela'sposition should also be reviewed. Hope Pant gets better in ODIs than he is now. We need a replacement for Pandya.  India has way too many youngsters coming through.  Shreyas Iyer is there for experience.

BCCI is making big mistake keeping Rohit and Kohli in mix for ODIs.

Kohli has played 4 ODI World Cup. Rohit has played 3 ODI World Cup.

Why the need to go back to 40 year old??  And its not that we don't have replacement- Jaiswal, Sai/Tilak are already there.

Just give Kohli and Rohit their damn farewell in next ODI series and get done with. Clarity is important moving forward.

First 100 by Bethel in any sort of professional cricket.

Wow ... and appointed captain for the next ODI series before getting a 100  even in first class cricket. Imagine making someone like Sai Sudarshan as the captain for the next series

Bosch and Mulder both give excellent balance to the team in SENA conditions. Former especially is going to be a bitch to face in the middle overs, I can see him troubling someone like Iyer badly even if we get off to a good start.

They look ominous, strong favorites for 27 WC.

Roby explained it is purely based on eye test.

Today highly ill disicplined bowling from SA. So many massive wides,. Markram gets out to a rubbish ball

They played in 2nd gear lot of misfields and easy dropped catches too. Same thing happened in Aus.
