They are not stopping other players from playing or scoring runs. 

 

Did they stop Jaiswal, Ruturaj or Sundar from scoring runs.Just like they never stopped other players from cementing other batting spots in last 15 years.Dhawan did it for few years.

 

I don't think they are playing 2027 world cup but let us see how it goes. Rohit Sharma is still the biggest hitter in the team and Kohli is still glue for batting order.

Anyone can fail in a particular match that is understandable , he still has two more matches.

Kohli scored 52 100s in 294 innings in comparison Sachin scored 33 100s after 294 innings.

 

Kohli can wake up in 2027 world cup and start scoring runs there.

 

44 100s scored in wins.He along with Rohit who has scored 26 100s in wins have kept this team relevant without much help for last 10 years.

 

Do we have anyone even close to them , Guy like KL Rahul who screwed them royally on Nov 19 is their captain now.

Rohit was never better batsman than Kohli in any format. He might have had some better results when Kohli was at his lowest.

 

If Kohli is in form, Rohit does not fall in same category as Kohli in any format.

 

One thing Rohit is better is in hitting sixes.
