Is Jaiswal best left handed batsman India has ever produced?

In almost every low run chase, Jaiswal throws his wicket away in bizarre fashion without contributing anything, thereby leaving the team in all sorts of trouble. He did it in Eng.   Did it today as well.  There is a big difference between showing +ve intent & showing wrecklessness while batting.

Failed against NZ chasing 145. I think he has to fix it. Openers are key in 4th innings chase.  They are under the least pressure usually. There is a reason why Graeme smith is boss of 4th innings chase as an opener.

He has potential but don’t know if he can achieve that as an opener, he has holes in his technique and they will get exposed every time he faces new ball.

He is far better batsman than rest of the duds nobody in team who can direct him ,he needs better coach than mediocre Gambhir

Problem with Jaiswal is he gets caught in between attack and defense. He has to play his natural game.

It is second year, people have videos on him, they have found some weaknesses in his technique and are exploiting them, how he overcomes these issues will dictate if he becomes a great player.

More than his failure here (pretty sure all players are mentally shot and want to go home), I am very disappointed with his failures in Lord's and Eden runchases. Even 20 odd in both cases would have won us the important tests.

Not taking blame off Jaiswal but Gambhir's presence and him seeing lesser players getting t20s and odi slots has also has contributed mentally.Rohit gave him free reign and took all the pressure off.

He has been relgated from spotlight even though he should be first name in all three formats.I would have made Jaiswal test Vice captain instead of Pant. We have seen Pant crumble under captaincy even in IPL.

Very important for Jaiswal to get a run in ODIs, even more than T20Is. Want him to bat with Rohit, Kohli, learn from them how to constuct/pace an innings. Just like how those two guys benefitted by playing with Sachin, Viru, Yuvi.

Constructing Test innings is totally different. Don't want white ball to corrupt his technique as of now. IPL is already unavoidable.
