Frustrated Posted October 14 Posted October 14 Chokers are 18/2. Likely to be bowled out for < 100 score.

vvvslaxman Posted October 14 Posted October 14 poyz spinners bowl at 72 mph to 78 mph. Almost like woman's cricket bowling speed. It actually works. But our spinners rarely drop below 90 mph. We need to find an ult a slow bowler like Ramesh powar to get maximum turn. Even Stantner brought down his speed drastically.

Santner uses pace variation, he can even delay the ball release but does not operate at low 80 kmph on regular basis. plus he is tall so even at lower speeds and delayed release he can control line and length

By 'chokers', what I meant is that all the other SENA teams hv improved their peformance in Asia recently. But SA continue to suck forever. The result of this test looks like a foregone conclusion (unless a miracle happens)
tapandrun Posted October 15 Posted October 15 Uphill task for SA needing 226 runs, but they have rickelton and stubbs both plays sweep and reverse sweep well and de zorzi also plays sweep and is good of backfoot
Gollum Posted October 15 Posted October 15 Bavuma makes RSA much stronger, scores tough runs. Anyway back them to win 2nd test when Maharaj returns. Subrayen is a useless pick.
vvvslaxman Posted October 15 Posted October 15 Batting last is impossible here. BUt still harakiri batting by SA.
Lone Wolf Posted October 15 Posted October 15 Pak won a crucial toss here. Tossiya pitch this Maharaj will be back for second test I think. Brevis should go all out here especially against Off spinner Sajid. The Hound 1

Gollum Posted October 15 Posted October 15 (edited) Even though they'll mostly lose this, you can see some plan in their chasing. Only Indians approach 4th innings chases like headless chickens, the way we collapsed in that 190 chase in Lord's, starting withJaiswal's stupidity in the first over Failing to chase 220 against Poms in Hyderabad last year, and 140 odd against Kiwis in Wankhede....our wk+tail made those loss margins a bit respectable, otherwise top and middle order just surrendered. Lone Wolf Posted October 15 Posted October 15 Noman Chachu is pretty good on these square turners. Dude is in his mid 40's probably. Brevis couldn't have done a lot with that ball.

Reckon he will trouble Indians as well when they come here. Ultra aggressive late middle order batters always work in subcontinent conditions. tapandrun and cowboysfan 2

rollingstoned Posted October 21 Author Posted October 21 7fer for Maharaj but Pakistan have a decent 1st innings score.
Gollum Posted October 21 Posted October 21 Pawks lucky with the toss this series. Now watch RSA win both tosses in India.
