Patidar has earned his place. A team shouldn't just be about who can be groomed for the National Side. Duleep Trophy, Rest of India and A squads should always be a mix of India potentials, strong doesmtic performers and high potential youngsters bsriharsha 1

Danish Malewar opened well for Duleep team , though he doesn't normally for Vidarbha, and could have played instead of Mhatre tweaker 1

Sarfaraz is another obvious exclusion I like Patidar he's great to watch , but India A needs to only feature genuine test match candidates.

If they want to replicate SENA conditions.. either go with Pune Wankhede or even Dharamsala and leave some grass on. Bangalore soil is only suited to spin. Despite Grass ball barely bouncing
