Reckon Prabhsimran, Abhishek Parag will be part of that squad.  Personally don't like Suryavanshi sent so early for this tourney.  Should be playing U19 series starting next week

Parag has to be there for the actual ODI series as well, now that Iyer is injured.

Arya gun selection for Emerging T20 cup.

Jitesh lone 30+ selection.  Won't mind it considering build up to T20 WC.

 

Parag has to be close to national call up atp.  Not a single better middle order batsman than him in the country.

Rinku will be a contender too.  Both should be part of those A ODIs v SA

They should've picked Parag ahead of SKY way back in 2023. He was already the best by then. 2 years later, they've still not picked him

These emerging tournaments are only for development. Winning or losing don't matter much. Only Pakistanis takes these matches seriously.

 

In last ACC emerging trophy, Sufian Muqeem got Abhishek Sharma out. That totla Basit Ali was saying from tv studio before the start of Asia cup - 'Hamale pass Sufian hai na Abhishek ka tor'. Rest is history...Abhishek banged them all over Dubai

PCB got the money and will continue to get money through these tournaments.. and that's the only big picture.

@Gollum  that trophy Chor Naqvi will be once again there for trophy giving ceremony... Being ACC chief

 

Absolute foolishness to play this tournament and dole out more money to PCB.
