All hail Indian Queens: World Champions

Shafali's replacement, Prateeka, was a good move. But when Pandya was injured in 2023, we brought Prasadham as his replacement into the squad. A totally useless pick. India could have bolstered our batting with a batting all rounder.

Today i would give 8 out of 10 for fielding. But for some brilliant stops  SA would not have felt the pinch. THat is what Australia does in finals. Steps up the fielding. Our men's team has too many slow movers

Yea.. morons should have given some extensive discussion to pick someone else. ON that tacky pitch where ball was not coming on in the first half his po wer would have been useful

What's really impressive is that they lost 3 close ones in a row. It shows character of this team. Peaked at right time.

sometimes loosing 1-2 games in league stageshelps to regroup and find the best combination

Even in men's CWC2011 we lost against SA,tied with Eng,had tough time vs Windies before regrouping against Aus in QF

Congratulations ladies!!!!

Would have preferred it to be under our very own Hyderabadi mithali raj.

But anyways great achievement.

I give major credit to the numerous anonymous small time coaches that toil endlessly with out any recognition across the span of this great country.

Special shout out  to @Gollum bhaai. He has been such a passionate supporter in all threads of women's cricket.
