Wi top order is new and inexp. along with that they are not as good as the gen 1 and 2 t20 players.

All the know t20 batters -Powell, rutherford, Shepard, holder are mo/lower mo.

Think Pooran will return back, pooran wanted to play but wanted to pick and and chose the series , like most other wi players have done it in the past.

 

Sammy is looking to build a team and hence difference. Think if CWI talk to pooran he can be back in the wc squad 

 

SA has given full chances to rikelton but he has not performed that well, so they may have talked to Decock to return back. And its an upgrade to SA without messing-up things- A LH opener who is a wk with a sr of 138. And Decock is 32-33 yo and rickelton is 29-30 yo so not like they are trying to hang to an old player.

Nathan Smith brngs the ball back off the pitch much like Henry. I think India had Shami, Bhuvi, Ishant doing that. We need more bowles like that to support SIraj and Bumrah.  Akash does against left handers.

West Indies top 3 are crap. Played out 3 maidens in the first 4 overs. Middle and lower order is too strong. Despite all that,Windies have smoked 247 in 34 overs !

They are a seriously good batting unit if they apply themselves.

They seem to **** the bed on the sight of Santner. 4-5 times,I have seen this West Indies bowling unit bowling terribly as soon as he comes on the crease and this Santner Dude is hitting them at over 250 sr for some time now. NZ have batting till 7 and he wns them for them everytime when they need him. Some Travis Head level of consistency.
