Are Nitish Reddy, Sai Sudarshan and Dhruv Jurel best batsmen from Indian FC cricket?

What many successes ??

Jurel played 31 FC matches and he happened to score three of those 5 100s in last one month.

As I said I would be shocked if this guy becomes a batsman.I just don't see him having the batting talent.

Adam Voges was forced out when he had test avg of 61.

Those 100s were against team which are better than Ranji sides. Voges was 37. There is no comparison.

Sarfraz 100s were also scored against better teams and in test also, how does this guy get selected over Sarfraz as a batsman.

He has already played two tests as batsman ,he has not crossed 20 in both tests.Sarfraz is superior to this guy is everyway as batsman.

Keeping its simple -- Test selection should be based on - can batters out bat opp. and bowlers can take 20 wkts???

This ind team can not do it.

There are only 2 batters in this team, rest are make shift kind of arrangement. So Ind can not make a bowlers's friendly wkt because you are going with effectively 2 batters

Now that Ind is not sure if their batter can play and score vs spin and Jaddu is aging, Ind does not have Ashwin now,  Can these bowlers take 20 wkts  ??? Can they take 20 wkts on a non-turning wkts ???

If answer is no of any 1 of these question they are not going to win consistently, there can be 1-2 blip.

test selection is v.simple 6 top batters who can score big 100s and 3-4 bowlers who can take 5 wkts. rest 1-2 allrounders who can be force multiplier and may be 1-2 bowlers who can bat a bit.

Sarfaraz scored one hundred when the pitch eased out, failed the rest of the series badly.  Though I would still like Sarfaraz to get more chances especially ahead of guys like Reddy or even Sudharshan who only came through IPL without FC success.

Most of the team failed rest of the series. He also scored 80 odd on debut. That's enough to get some backing.

Instead he sat out entire Aus tour when Paddikal and Jurel played over him and missing since then.

What did Jurel do on flattest pitch ,  got out to pacer for duck.

i told you many times Sai stinks doesn’t belong in international cricket.

Sai is not even the best batter in TN FC side. Baba Indrajit, Pradosh Ranjan Paul, Andre Siddharth and even Jagadeesan have better records in FC. Sai was only picked based on potential and his technique which he displayed in SA in the ODI series. I agree, if he is not even the best batter in this state side, he should not be in the Test team. Sundar was a lucky pick and should not have even played Test cricket in the first place. He had to drafted into the side because of injuries to major players in the BGT 20/21. He surprised everyone with his batting and bowling, so he got in. Reddy and Sai should not be in test team. Don't forget, Gill is GT captain as well and likes Sai a lot, so don't expect him to drop Sai anytime soon. Also before anyone calls me biased against the region, I am Tamizh myself, born and raised in Chennai.

If yes, then test cricket must be dying in India.

Adhula doubt-ae illa. (vendam)

It has been dying for quite some time. It was kept alive by ravi jadeja and ravi ashwin atleast in home tests but even now they're gone.
