Don't the players are all that, if they were they would be able to perform despite the coach. They are lacking in both talent and mentality.

 

This may not be the worst of it. This team can plumb even lower depths as will likely witness next year.

 

Gambhir rather than buiding a new generation may have started a death spiral that has no end in sight.

We create deadicated threads to punch our own spinning pair instead lol Now everyone realizes it is not that easy to do it.

That was the tailend of his career. His main worry was he was unable to contribute with bat.

5th wicket partnership, 7th wicket partnership have the sharpest decline when you compare won matches with lost matches.  

 

Ashwin and Jadeja combined and added 2 century partnership in the matches they won. Whenever our all rounders don't show up we lose these close matches on these under-prepared wickets.

Mo/lower mo helped Ind alot, the top order usually use to fail, its because of new ball and with the spin pitches ,it turns sharply. with older ball the spin was not that sharp and manageable.

 

Ind need batters who can out bat opp. and bowlers who can take 20 wkts.
