I don't have any bonhomie towards Pakistanis but I appreciate the resolve of Imran Khan.

 

If you ask me, he should have never joined Pak politics in the first place and was better off moving to the UK permanently. Nevertheless, I appreciate his resilience.

++ He should have built good relations with shariffs to bring army permanently under civilian govt control.

Difficult but not impossible ..abhi the US can't even get bagram from Afghanistan...need strong leaders in Pakistan

Yes.

 

The dude is like those celebrities of south India. God has given them golden spoon, but still want to participate in the high stress political wrangling.

Fundamentally, what is good for Pakistan automatically translates into Good relations with India. Pakistan needs a leader who can intrinsically see and do what is Good for Pakistan. Since 1940s there hasnt been a single leader other than Jinnah( who was musceled by other leaders of Muslim League specially Bangldeshi descent ones) or post 1947 in Pakistan who has actually worked for Pakistan.

All these days, i thought that Imran must be a punjabi or sindhi. Today I found that he is a Pasthun :omg:

 

May be this is one of the reasons why punjabi heavy Pak Army does not like him.

His family have lived in Punjab for several generations now and I believe he considers himself a Punjabi with Pashtun roots.
