Yea.. Each league can unearth new guys who otherwise would not have made it. Varun C is an example. Through normal channel he probably would not have played even for his state.

Yes..we talked about him..and were hoping to see him in England for U19s..unfortunately he got injured before that

Heard Sri Lanka has solid school system..from where most of the talent is identified..

our fllter system..doesnt function properly..given the population we have..though with these state T20 leagues..and even now some district\local region wise T20 cups..starting to come up..I hope..no talent will be unnoticed..also due to social media presence..after that grooming the talent is a different ball game..

Talent pool will inevitably expand.  This is where BCCI's money can play a major role. Harnessing these potentials.

Deepesh Devendran brings something new to our set up. Infact even seniors need such an enforcer. Someone bowling accurate bouncer. Pakistan invariably senior or junior struggle against short balls.

Key is to ensure he doesnt get lost in TN system.

TN is historically averse to fast bowlers, its a land dominated by spinners and batters.

Rarely you'll see a genuine pace bowler coming out.

As we were discussing about Local T20 leagues and SM making sure tge talents dont go unnoticed..I see this..today..

Yea this is another way to unearth new talents that may find it harder to rise through ranks.  IPL itself won't make players bette.r But it gives exposure more than any other tournament. We saw this mallu spinner playing for MI this year. Nobody heard of him until he played for MI

It is very important for batsmen to bowl -  SUnil JOshi in the commentary box.   Top 4 batsmen bowl like Sachin, Ganguly, Sehwag.. as per him. He mindset aligns with our mindset.  He is looking for depth in both areas.
