11 years back Sanju samson made 100 in under-19 Asia cup against pakistan. Kerala power against Pakistan.

I mentioned about him even in Australia tour. He was clutch.   He played 2 ODIs 87*(74)  &    71(64) run out.

He made 87*, 71 in Australia in the tow ODIs he played both at strike rate over 100.  And in ENgland test he made 90 & 11.  Made a 45 in the one dayer. Also scores much quicker even in Tets. He is like Pant with bit more refined techniqe. Thing is Kanitkar alternates between Harvansh Pangalia and Kundu in tests and ODIs. That is why he doesn't get consistent run. But whenever he gets a chance he does welll.

Kundu is also rated very highly in U19 circuit..and often trumps Harvansh Pangalia the other keepr who is also good with the bat too..

I read about him some months back before Aus tour and he is a very good prospect..but due to SuryaVanshi and Mhatre..he didnt get enough limelight..

I liked his performance in DPL and was expecting more from him in Aus U19 tour..which he didnt do well per my liking\expectation..may be he needed more experience there on what line and lengths to bowl..but i did find he used lot of brain in DPL..

Deepesh type of dismissals is varied. Today toe crushing yorker. THen center pole pegging yorker, Then a couple of fuller ball, back of a length ball all got him wickets. We are witnessing a multi-dimensional fast bowler at this age. Hope he doesn't lose his way. I implored Ashwin to take care of this kid after Australian tour :) Hope former TN players make sure of that.

The back of length balls which got him wkts..those were planned ones..

Watching HLs..I heard commentators saying that batters were expecting bouncers..

So seems..he is ratting the batters with well directed short stuff and causing them to make mistakes..

 

His such planning and penetrative yorkers at such young age making me feel..he is going to be a very smart and effective bowlers..

 

He needs to be groomed at all costs..

 

Does Ashwin respond to you or bit familiar with you or else he may be receiving many such suggestions and could miss it?

Highlights vs mylsa ??? 

mylsa is new team they do not have much exposure to cricket , but they were using some high price bats ???-- how popular is cricket there ??

 

mylsa batters were not even able to bring bat down in time vs Ali raza.

But UAE played Raza well(per stats) but struggled against Deepesh.. :D

 

I dont follow Malaysia much but Deepesh troubled them more as compared to Uddhav Mohan and Kishan.. the yorkers from Deepesh were good irrespective of opponents

 

also DD was terrorizing Aussies on their own turf too

Deepesh is visibly quicker than any Ind bowler in this series, he does not get tired keeps bowling short stuff with good consistant pace and line and length.

Hope they do not over use him, he has potential

He seems 140+ faster than Kishan who himself has clocked 140 in the UPTL.
