This approach will be fine for T20 matches. If he's looking to establish himself as an all format batter then he needs to alter his game.

He is like Sehwag. At his age he shouldn't worry about percentage cricket. Others have to cover for it. When he comes off he singlehandedly wins you games.

Bhai he is just 16-17 at max dont write obituary so early…. He has handled much faster and better bowler in ipl. He is swashbuckling player in mould of sehwag, he cant make 100 in each inning, besides he made 50 against more senior pakistani bowlers in emerging cup. Also he cant be perfect at this age but still better than many nincompoop seniors like jadeja, sundar and axar.

Ya.. check his runs in England.. Amazing consistency as well at hight strike rate. We love these low back lift timid tuk tukers like Kela, Gill  lol

There are some people here who hate youngsters and will do anything to put them down. It's a pattern, they are waiting for youngsters to fail even once to attack them like vultures.

With the way he's currently playing, he can atmost become a player like Abhishek Sharma and be good only in limited overs cricket. Sehwag is a touch player and never looked to over hit the ball. Never seen Vaibhav timing the balls for boundaries while piercing the gaps.

Vaibhav is a sensational timer.. His first four was like that. But when the bowler misses length he can over hit.

Even Anukul Roy is better than Sadeja atp.. look at his form in SMAT.

Vaibhav has a lot to work on.   His off side play isn't fully developed yet.

I am saying he isn't ready for National side yet but that doesn't mean he won't be.  In a couple of years time he would be a beast if he works on some technical stuff, fitness etc and will be a beast.

Forget about fast bowling factory their spin stocks seem to be impressive @Nikhil_cric domestic structure improved or what

SL is not producing enough mystery spinners these days.

After getting consistently destroyed by Kuldeep Yadav, I think they started picking and encouraging young  left arm wrist spinners  in their domestic sides .  I remember Misbah saying something along these lines

Why are all our spinners in U19 slow left arm? Bishnoi was an exception. Before him we have to back to Kuldeep

Md Enaan was not included... There was a tall off spinner from Punjab.

Both were in tri series before the tournament.. India B side.
