At the moment yes but he's likely to be fit in a month or so. I would take Iyer coming back from injury over useless SKY. If Iyer won't be fit in time, hand over the captaincy to Pandya (Axar or Bumrah as VC) and get in a new no.4 batter such as Parag or any other no. 4 they deem fit. Or Rinku can slot in at 4 and they can get another hitter lower down the order. There're options available and SKY has been given a long rope. It's clear he won't be a difference maker so may as well cut your losses.

If they really wanted to make the team better, they should've picked Jaiswal ahead of Gill, or even Sai. Both of them are better than Gill.

I believe it's the same injury he got in Aus - the one where he had to be operated and was life threatening. I thought he would be back in January but could be touch and go for the WT20.
