Oh yeah seeing many videos where actresses are kissing each other. Obviously we are smart enough to tell AI or not but too many people in the world who can't tell it's fake. It's going to create a lot of riots in the future as well especially in India where people are easily enraged over small things.

This is different. This does not aim at helping your hand or replacing your leg. It aims to replace and compete your brain. This is very different.

 

Deepfake is the least of the grave concerns.

I'm in the same boat looking for a job. Doing some basic AI engineering courses or Udemy and Coursera as it is not my field

If you have experience in 20+ zone, and in india, better to retire. The job market is quite tough.

Funnily enough i depend on AI now much like i started depending on GPS in my car. Even to go to familiar place i started using GPS. When i was new to US they were using calculator even to add 10 plus 10. I was like "WTF". It is somewhat similar. People don't care about learning syntax anymore. It is total waste of my time. All my python codes are developed using company's AI tool which is using Gemini  models including pro models. It is not long before we lose our jobs to AI. Architects are feeling somewhat secure for hte moment. But they will lose the job in due course.

The question for any company laying off staff due to AI is, who will actually buy your product if people don't have an income?

 

Henry Ford is largely responsible for the 2 day weekend in the west. It gave workers an extra day to buy his cars. That's how businesses need to think.
