vvvslaxman Posted January 4 Posted January 4 We ar the biggst hypocrites. lol 2009 we picked pakistan players in the IPL event hough we were at war with each other decades. Then 26/11 happened. T hen we stopped picking them. stopped inviting them. After 4 years we invited them to India. Then again we stopped them. Again in 2023 world cup we had no issue playing pakistan in India. In between we did send players from other sports to Pakistan. There is no consistent stance on anything.

Theres too much drama plus there’s this massive dew problem which makes the matches boring to watch. Also not much crowds in matches where the host nation does not play. But this probably also holds in some other nations but worse in India. Test matches are also dead just compare the crowds in Ashes for comparison. Edited January 4 by MK55

We don't need ICC tournaments anymore. Let other countries host. There won't be accusation that INdia is manipulating schedules to their own advantage even though Pakistan was equally responsible for it. Just let SENA teams host it. That leeway which was given to PCB to play at a neutral venue (vise versa) opened up a Pandora box. Other teams can demand the same thing too if they don't feel 'safe'. This is why I was against that from the beginning. There should have been no leeway from the beginning for all the team and now we have to deal with this each time.
