There will never be another Kohli.

Dream for any present players to play knock like this

Our great kaptaan Dhoni ruined whole tournament in finals by promoting Yuvraj and then himself and scoring 14 runs @50 SR over Raina who scored very important runs with 210 SR in semifinals.Raina did not even get a chance to bat in finals.

Dhoni's idiotic captaincy ruined Indian team in so many tournaments.

This post is the cricket version of irredentism. You cite some make believe cricket history to besmirch the reputation of captain  MSD.

The truth of the matter is that it was under Dhoni’a astute tutelage that Kohli honed his batting skills and learned how to pace his innings. Especially in ODI.

Dhoni was useless captain .He proved his useless captaincy again and again in all formats.

India won CT under Gambhir, it does not make Gambhir even a decent coach.

Yes. Useless captains win world cups. T20 and ODI.

Gotcha!

Younus Khan and Sarfraz Ahmed also won ICC titles , does not make them great captains.

Dhoni lost more ICC tournaments than any Indian captain past or present. His captaincy was the reason for many of those losses.

Broken clock is right twice a day.

FYI your great kaptaan quit on his team midway thru a test tour because he could not handle the heat of losing again and getting exposed.

First of all India should have never conceded this  many runs from 20/3. Second of all when you chase totals you have to suss out the conditions, their strategies first and adjust your game plan. Sometimes deeper you go opposition might make more mistakes you can capitalize on. Get your blood circulation going. Sometimes under pressure going after bowling too early can make horrible mistakes. These guys are trained to go harder and harder like they chased 200 in 15 overs, 150 in 10 overs. Those were different surfaces.

Look at the comments by this Zimbawean cricket expert.

At the end he says captain  MSD is the greatest cricket player ever.

You want me to take your biased view over that of this Zimbabwean analyst?

I am sorry but not for a second have i missed Virat. Ofcourse you think in terms of Kohli could have handled this better but then the player i am actually missing is Sehwag. He would have smashed these so called offspiner all over the park.

Forget Sehwag, a non regular like Yousuf Pathan would have taken care of any off spin they throw at us!

I don't miss Virat either, he had his time, he played enough world t20s.It is unfortunate that he never got the help from others till 2024 , by then he was shell of himself.

Time stops for no one, hope the next generation guys do one better than him and win more than one t20 titles.

For me Kohli is the GOAT in white ball cricket.

GOAT in T20 - From 2012-2018 the best T20I batter, and in 2014 and 2016 the best WT20 batter hands down.

Very Good in ODI - Too many failures in high-profile matches and was mostly a bi-lateral king. Unlike T20s where Kohli showed up in most of the big matches, he was nowhere close to in ODIs.

Decent in Tests - The last 5 years averaging around 30 impacted his legacy and no major contribution in a win away from home and a batting of average 46 makes him just a decent batter.

In Odis he has better innings in world cup KO than Sachin. Both his 100 in semis and his CT semifinal innings are better than any innings Sachin played in KOs.

So if he is just good then Sachin is average.

Kohli averages 75 in CT with str rate of 90

In world cups he averages 60 at 90 str rate.

If thats what you call a bilateral bully then you are deluded.

Stop embarrassing yourself please and no there is no debate or argument, you are just wrong, plain and simple.

Decent in tests? In an era where bowling acerages are at an all time low he averages 47, thats just decent?
