zen Posted February 27 Author Posted February 27 (edited) Eng tops its group. Pak hopes still alive. Edited February 27 by zen
Ultimate_Game Posted February 27 Posted February 27 This tourney is turning out to be one of the best ones - upsets with a lot of close matches, Australia kicked out in group stage and semi-finalists to be decided in the last group 8 matches. Frustrated 1
zen Posted February 28 Author Posted February 28 Pakistani ballon gets popped. 2nd Asian team to depart. Kiwis go through.
rish Posted February 28 Posted February 28 WI are unpredictable. It seems like India has the edge but it only seems that way. WI have fearsome power hitters and they just need a couple to click. Predict an India win by a blowout or a close WI win especially if they chase.

zen Posted March 1 Author Posted March 1 India makes it to the last 4! Asian teams continue to main at least a spot!
tapandrun Posted March 4 Posted March 4 sc teams does not batting/t20 style of batting to compete with Sena sides. Specially power game and modern white-ball shots. Most sc teams rely on their bowling specially spin/mystery spin and some dodgy pitches. Plus they play mostly vs B/c/d sides of sena sides and once full strength sides comes in the icc events and pitches becomes batter friendly they do not have batting to compete . Most sena batter are playing vs the top spinners of sc sides in various leagues they kind of know what is coming and have some kind of plan and usually their mis-hits goes for 6s. Sc teams have to fix their batting stop relying on mystery spin only.

vvvslaxman Posted March 5 Posted March 5 It took years for Rohit sharma to muster some courage to play aggressive in the power play. Current lot is already doing it.
